PRESS RELEASE

May 16, 2021
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PHILLY GETS ITS FIRST TINY ART GALLERY
PHILADELPHIA, PA

The “Philly Tiny Art Gallery” Opens in Fishtown!

Discover Philly Artists And Support The Local Art Scene.

Artist and marketing professional,  Sarah Rado, has installed the first Philly Tiny Art Gallery (PTAG) at 2416 E. Cumberland Street in Fishtown. Artwork on display is up for sale, creating an alternative space for the community to support local artists—an intentional departure from other little free art galleries popping up around the country. Prospective buyers can purchase the work through Venmo or Paypal, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the artist! Most artists will also have an online store that people can visit if they are unable to purchase the work in person.

Anyone interested in selling, purchasing or viewing artwork can follow  @Philly_TinyArtGallery on Instagram to obtain the 4-digit lock code.  For more details on how to participate and to plan your visit, go to PhillyTinyArtGallery.com.

Says Rado, “I love seeing all the little free galleries and libraries pop up around the country, and I wanted to expand on that idea so it supports local artists and gives me a space to show my work as well.” She continues, “I’m pretty excited to see Philly artists I follow and new ones I don’t know about contribute to the space.”
